About de la Vision
Art is everywhere - in shop window displays, handwritten cafe blackboards, graffiti-covered walls, the greetings cards we exchange, and even the tattoos people wear with pride. I'm inspired by these everyday expressions of creativity, and they fuel my passion for making art that's both beautiful and functional.
At de la Vision, I hand-paint up cycled furniture and homewares, blending art with purpose. I also design greeting cards and prints that carry a touch of charm and originality. It's all about form meeting function - that's the de la Vision way.
About Chris de la Nougerede
Chris de la Nougerede is a multi-talented designer and artist with a background in graphic design and a passion for all things creative. With a rich career spanning graphic arts, window displays, prop-making, and over a decade as a celebrated Fallas artist in Valencia, Chris brings imagination and craftsmanship to everything she does.
Her creative journey includes roles as a trainer at the University of Valencia and as an English teacher through arts and crafts at a language academy in Spain. Chris has received recognition for her photography and filmmaking, with award-winning pieces and several exhibitions held throughout Spain - her home for nearly 20 years.
In 2022 she returned to her beloved Brighton and now pours her energy into painting, gilding, and transforming furniture and homewares with her unique artistic flair. At Studio de la Casa in Hassocks, Chris also runs vibrant, hands-on workshops designed to spark creativity and joy.
