About de la Vision
Art is all around us, in the displays in shop windows, the blackboards in cafes, the graffiti on walls, the greetings cards we send and receive, the tattoos on people's bodies... I love those kinds of art and they inspire me to create artworks that are also functional, part of everyday life, so I hand-paint furniture (up-cycling) and homewares, and design greetings cards too!
Form and function - that's the de la Vision way!
About Chris de la Nougerede
Chris is an accomplished designer and artist in many fields, with a degree in graphic design and a wide range of experience in graphics, window display, prop-making and other 3D work (she was a Fallas artist for over 10 years). She has been a trainer at the University of Valencia as well as a teacher of English through arts and crafts in an English academy in Spain.
Chris has won awards for her photography and video making and has had several exhibitions of her work in Spain where she lived for almost 20 years before returning to her beloved Brighton in 2022. She is now using her painting skills to decorate furniture and homewares, as well as gilding found images and hosting fun creative workshops at Studio de la Casa in Hassocks.
